16/02/2012	The new NJLM documentary film, 'The International Brigaders Among Us' will be shown at the Imperial War Museum in London on 3 March. Angela Jackson will introduce the film and also her latest book, the biography of Spanish civil war nurse, Patience Darton, 'For us it was Heaven'. To see the programme click here.
11/11/2011	PRESENTATION OF THE NEW DOCUMENTARY 'THE INTERNATIONAL BRIGADERS AMONG US' AND OF THE EXHIBITION 'PRELUDE TO THE LAST BATTLE' The documentary film produced by NJLM, winner of the MemoriReus prize, will be shown at the Museu d'Història de Catalunya (Plaça Pau Vila, Barcelona) on Tuesday, 24 January at 7pm. The photographic exhibition 'Prelude to the Last Battle' will also be on display.
11/11/2011	PRIZE AWARDED TO NJLM DOCUMENTARY The NJLM documentary, 'The International Brigaders Among Us', has won the MemoriReus prize in the film festival, 'Memorimage'. 6/10/2011	NINTH EVENT OF NJLM The annual NJLM event this year will take place on Saturday 26 November in collaboration the Town Hall of Falset. Toni Orensanz will present the new NJLM documentary, "Els Brigadistes Entre Nosaltres" (The International Brigaders Amongst Us) at 8pm in the Artesana Theatre, Falset. The NJLM photographic exhibition will also be on display. Doors will open at 7:30pm. Entry free.

2/08/2010	RETURN OF THE FALSET TOWN HALL REGISTERS NJLM attended the ceremony to mark the return of archival records removed from Falset and other villages after Franco's victory. After being missing since then, the registers were eventually found in the government delegation archives in Barcelona. You can see a short photo report here.

25/04/2009	BOOK PRESENTATION Last Friday 24th April was presented the photo book (bilingual, both in Catalan and English) 'PRELUDE TO THE LAST BATTLE: The International Brigades in the Priorat, 1938' in the Public Library Savador Estrem of Falset (41, Baix St.). The journalist and writer Toni Orensanz was the presenter. Several persons and institutions collaborating with NJLM were presented with a copy.
02/02/2009	PUBLICATION OF THE BOOK 'PRELUDE TO THE LAST BATTLE' We have pleasure in announcing that the book of photographs to accompany our travelling exhibition, 'Prelude to the Last Battle', has now been published in English and Catalan. We will soon be able to announce the time and place of the official presentation.

25/06/2008	SUMMER RESEARCH As the summer goes by, NJLM keeps working. During June and July we are recording interviews with people who have memories of the II Republic and Spanish Civil War. This project is being carried out in collaboration with staff at the Public Library "Salvador Estrem" in Falset.
14/06/2008	SIXTH ANNUAL EVENT This year, the date of our VI Annual Event will be 8-9 November and will include the inauguration of a commemorative plaque at the site of the communal grave in the village of Els Guiamets. More details to follow.
